AMP was born from a simple belief: braking deserves as much attention as performance.
We are Anthony and Ben, two mechanical engineers obsessed with precision, materials science, and the art of cycling.
Our background in the aerospace and cycling industries taught us something fundamental: performance is born from details.
A better material, a tighter tolerance, a smarter design, and the feeling on the bike changes dramatically.
But back in 2019, we realized something surprising.
While frames, drivetrains, and wheels had evolved beyond recognition, brake pads had barely changed.
Little innovation, no real research, and a general acceptance that “good enough” was enough.
We set out to redefine the brake pads. Not as a consumable, but as a true performance component.
By merging composite material engineering, aerospace-inspired processes, and real-world riding experience, we aimed to build pads that deliver power, silence, and total control in every condition.
That vision led to the creation of our first breakthrough: the Carbone series.
Developed from advanced composite structures and thermal management technology, these pads were designed for riders who refuse compromise.
Soon after, the world’s fastest athletes, including Titouan Perrin-Ganier, Marion Fromberger, and Simon Gegenheimer of the Mountain Bike Racing Team — began trusting AMP on the world stage, proving that innovation truly makes the difference.
But innovation never stops.
Our in-house R&D lab allows us to test, refine, and push every friction formula to its limits, under real heat, real pressure, real riding.
Every pad is built with the precision it deserves.
In 2023, we expanded our vision with two new series:
• Podium, bringing AMP technology to a wider range of demanding riders.
• Carbone SL, the lightest brake pad ever made, crafted for those who chase the edge of what’s possible.
Today, AMP products are distributed in over 40 countries, trusted by racers, mechanics, and performance-driven cyclists around the globe.
Yet our philosophy remains unchanged: to design, test, and perfect until every ride feels like control itself.
Our pads are not just pads.
They are the result of an obsession with precision, consistency, and confidence.
